Q: What is included in the assisted living services?

A: We include everything from depends and wipes, to food, to furniture. In terms of what care we offer, we will be there to help bath, feed, manage medicine, and make sure each person is having fun each day with endless activities. We provide 3 meals per day, snacks, social events, utilities, and 24-hour supervision. You don't need to worry when your loved one is in our care. We will provide everything in our power to make them feel at home. Please note, medicine itself is not provided by our services. Q: What makes us different? Why Devoted Care?

A: It is in our name! We are devoted to our clients in every single step of their experience with us. We stick to a 1:5 caregiver to client ratio to ensure the best care and attention given to each and every person in our care. We also are in a home environment in a suburban area which exudes and nurturing and safe place for your loved one. Your family is our family, and we stick by that belief every single day.

Q: What is the cost of your assisted living program?

A: We personalize every program to make sure each individual is getting their needs met fully. We start out by having a care plan made with the staff and family members to ensure everyone is on the same page and feeling fully confident in the services we provide. Different price points are available upon the discussion of your loved one's needs.

Q: What if the health need or level of care changes over time?

A: No matter what, we are here from day 1. We will never turn your loved one away regardless of their health status. We can accommodate anything from minimal assistance to memory care or hospice. We do not uproot your loved one at any point due to health status changes or need for more services.

Q: Can we bring personal items?

A: Yes. We do provide everything that is needed, however, you are more than welcome to bring additional items in order to make your loved one more comfortable in a new environment.

Q: What are the visiting hours?

A: We offer visiting hours from 8 am to 8 pm. No call ahead needed!

Q: Can a family member take a loved one out of the assisted living home?

A: Yes. As long as you provide us with the times that they will be away from our care and that you are authorized to take them out of our care.

Q: Do you provide transportation to and from doctors appointments?

A: At this time, we do not offer in-house transportation. However, we highly recommend a few options. Please contact us for more information.

Q: What is the difference between assisted living and nursing home?

A: In assisted living, there is usually some level of independence from day to day. A nursing home is usually an environment with around the clock monitoring in a more hospital-like environment. Devoted Care bridges the gap between these two types of facilities. We can provide light care like an assisted living facility as well as more involved care that a nursing home provides as well. The best part of our services is that we are here for your loved one through all stages of these transitions. They will stay in our care no matter the level of care once they start with us.

Q: Do you provide rehabilitation services?

A: Yes. We have a visiting physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, visiting nurse, and visiting doctor if needed. Our doctors and nurses that visit will provide basic care such as bloodwork, x-rays, and ultrasounds in-house.

Q: What activities are provided?

A: We offer anything from puzzles, painting, music, board games, gardening, and religious offerings. We also take resident requests based on interests.
